Sarah McLaughlin

Sarah McLaughlin is a theatre-practitioner and visual artist, currently operating in the London area under the alias of Theatretank. Having recently been granted an Arts & Humanities Research Council Award and an Artslinks Bursary Award in 2008, she has spent the last year enrolled in the London University of the Arts. While completing a Masters degree in The Visual Language of Performance, Sarah has engaging in collaborative performances in tandem with the production of her solo projects. Theatretank’s most recent production is entitled ÁTMAN.
ÁTMAN, is a performance in motion which draws inspiration from the artists theoretical research into the individualisation of audience. Reworking Peter Handke’s epic text Self-Accusation, this piece allows the audience to make an unaccompanied journey, find a path and meet the resistance.

ÁTMAN , will be starting from Wimbledon Town Centre Piazza between 3.00 and 4.00 each day, on the 4th, 7th , 8th and 9th of Sept.
